Mike Adams started playing the guitar and drums at the age of 10. At the age of 12 he discovered EDM, and he started learning how to play piano/synthesizer, and he traded his electric guitar with an Atari ST, and then he took his first step into the world of producing electronic music. He started his first serious music project called Cyrus back in 1999 with his friend Andy J, producing a mix of Techno & Trance in an old garage located in Heby, Sweden. Around 2003, Mike Adams, Andy J & Toby K started up the Trance/Techno project Antishock. After a good bundle of tracks and live performances, they just dissolved, and Antishock was no more. About the same time Mike & Andy started up a new project called Parka, with their aim set to the Trance scene, this was back in 2006. In 2009 they released their first original single Momentarily Gone on Infrasonic Recordings, featuring the female vocalist Anna Basel from New York, including some great remixes. In 2010 Parka remixed the Dutch Trance wonderchild Juventa and his track Dawnshaper. After that Parka released their second original single Breeze Of Tomorrow, including a remix by Juventa, and they remixed Sean Truby's track Now Or Never. Right now, Parka is still somewhat active, with new material being created, but the two are also really busy with their solo and side projects.
