Ancient Ascendant are a 4 piece death metal band from Reading/London who are pioneering a fusion of old school principles with modern dynamics and power. Employing the 3 headed Cerberus of melody, groove and extremity, this unstoppable beast is set to crush all opposition, leaving only a trail of musically satisfied corpses. After releasing their debut EP “The Heathen Throne” at the end of 2008, Ancient Ascendant received critical acclaim from the UK press, and went on to tour the country with Fleshgod Apocalypse in 2009.
