On 29/11/2008 Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight self released Lowering the Tone; a seven song EP demonstrating their new sound as a 3 piece. The EP was recorded live at a rehearsal studio in Hertfordshire in early November 2008. The band play a mix of stoner rock, doom, doom, sludge and blues. Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight was formed in early 2006 by Chris West, Pete Holland and Paul Fryer in St Albans.
